Flasher

Postby Alexander » Sat Nov 07, 2009 8:44 pm

Hi, i have some problems with my Ha. When i flash to the left everything works just fine. But when i flash to the right its just the front flasher that works, the rear one doesnt ract at all. And the front one flashes faster than usual. Wich i know usually means that one lamps is borken. But the rear one works, becouse i have switched place on the two rear ones but the problem was the same, the right wont work. Can that mean that the relay is broken? But then none of the flashers would work or? I have checked the earth wich seems fine.. So i really have no idea.. Anyone of you got a clue what it can be? :)

Sounds like a broken poz somewhere Alex.
Possibly broken on the way to the rear or within the boot/trunk.
Is there bullet type connectors you can undo to use as a check point.

Boyd :)
Please don't sell me a Viva. I'll just ruin it.

So you think that a cable is broken? Becouse with poz you mean positive cable right? :P Im not that good at english :P
Ok, so i should start looking for where the cable might be broken.. With bullet type connectors you mean a connector i can take apart so the cables isnt together? :P
Thanks for the help :) I will look for broken cables later today or tomorrow..

Your English is fine Alex. Better than some here in UK. Some other forums I visit are torture to read and nobody uses the spellcheck facility.

Poz is positive or +ve. Then there's neg., negative or -ve 8) .

Therefore if you've got -ve ok then you must have no +ve since +ve is known to be available because flasher is operating. :)
