HB indicator stalk

Postby chrisdunham » Mon Nov 30, 2009 6:56 pm

Folks, my indicator stalk is quite stiff (oo-er) especially when signalling left. Is it adviseable to spray some kind of lubricant into the switch housing to try and loosen things up?

I've also noticed the indicators dont always self cancel, so I will need to have the steering wheel off anyway to check that out

Thanks!

I'm going to have it off tomorrow and investigate! The indicators clunk like they should cancel, but dont. I think it could be related to the overall 'stiffness' of the mechanism...

Will report back with my findings!
