Not a Viva issue, but still Vauxhall...........................
I know it's a long shot, but I wondered if anyone had the Vauxhall part number for the coolant sender for a FD Victor please. The car has a 2300 engine in but the temp gauge is faulty as in after 2 - 3 mins it's reading off the scale. There isn't an after market type listed for the FD, although there is for the FE. I fitted the FE one, but got the same result. Failing anyone having a part number, if someone has a Delco one laying around doing nothing and you wish to sell it, this would also help.
I had this problem with my HB once and was informed that if I fitted an AC Delco one it would fix it. I did fit a Delco type and sure enough, the issue was fixed. Just wondered if it was the same with the FD.
