Correct dizzy cap for HB....

Postby yoeddynz » Mon Oct 03, 2016 7:25 am

Just a quick one.. is this dizzy cap listed for a Viva the correct item for my HB?..

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par ... 423392.htm

I did a quick google and I think its certainly the one for a HC but I am wondering if they are the same as those found on HBs?

Cheers

yes it is the same all over the years. HA, HB, HC, Victor FB, FC. The only different cap is late chevettes with bosch distributor.
But dont pay a fortune on NOS caps, they are very common so should be readily available from someone who sells parts.

Cool. Good to know. Yeah they are often available and cheap in the UK ext but not so much here in NZ. @$20 plus post its probably worth it.......

.....although that pound... oooooooooooooh boy. Thanks to the silly Brexit folks its gonna continue to plummet making stuff from blighty very appealing. Great for us :-)

I have a NOS cap for the Delco Dizzy if you're interested. £8 inc postage.
