HA dash lights not working

help my dash lights dont work, ive found this under the dash,does it have anything to do with it??

Yes. It switches them on and off. The wires might have come off judging by the photograph - try joining them and they should work again.

Don't often take my Viva out in the dark this time of year.

have tried to join them together, however still no luck, how do i take the binacles out? might be a loose connection on bulb?
