Resprayed Viva GT Bonnet from blue to black

Postby blackdog » Sun Sep 06, 2009 10:31 am

I've just had 2 weeks off from work so I thought I would have a go at respraying my bonnet on my GT to it's original colour. I had to have a guess were the paint at the front of the bonnet ended, and were the paint ended on the top of the wings, but I did have a few photos of my other Viva to get a general idea...Also I resprayed my new boot as mine old one had a hole in it...It's the first time I've ever done this, it's been a step into the unknown, but I feel quite please about the results ( the boot could of come out better but there is always next year )
So I just need the engine in her then it's complete...
So I've done a few pictures of the progress made in the last 2 weeks...
The picture is what the Viva Gt looked like before I strated the work..

That looks quite smart, well done.
