Number plates

Postby chrisdunham » Mon Feb 22, 2010 5:38 pm

My viva has black numberplates with clip on silver letters. Obviously, 43yrs has taken its toll and they need replacing! Do you know anywhere that sells them at a reasonable price? I'd like to keep the style as it's original to the car.

Cheers

I have the same idea Chris. Google and or eBay are your best bets.... and or bring your V5 to a car show as they normally have someone who makes plates. :goodluck:

You might try Polar Automotive, they have a website, I got a pair of raised silver on black background, ie plastic lettering on an alluminium plate, for, i think about 30 quid delivered

they are period correct for the 1960's cars, top quality, made by bestplate in blackpool. I don't think you'd be disappointed with them. They are exactly the same style as on Adrians crayford convertible
