my 1965 viva HA doesnt have any wing mirrors or holes for them, do i need them to pass a M.O.T next year?

You do not need wing mirrors on your HA for MOT, but do need an interior rear view mirror.
My HB passed MOT last month without wing mirrors.
I have just checked with my local MOT mate and he says that the VOSPA mot bible states that
a car manufactured before August 1978 must have at least 1 rear view mirror, either interior or external.
I trust that clarifies the matter for you.

Don't need wing mirrors my HC passed without them last week.
