Some good tips. In the end I used Cillet Bang and worked it in with a nail brush, wiped clean, then used a vinyl cleaner and wiped clean. Came out fairly well, but I wouldn't say brilliant.

Still need to do front seats though so will try the shaving foam and magic wheel cleaner techniques
