You will also need the complete front panel and different wiring. Not a quick change of lights.

Do you need the whole front panel, or just the lamp mountings? It's a while since I've looked at a flat-front, but I thought there was a panel that spot-welds on the front of the front panel on each side.

But you're right, it's not just a case of getting four round lights. I once put a set of square FE lamps on mine, that looked interesting and from what I can see it's also quite a common conversion. Trouble was, mine weren't in good condition at all, and the light output was rubbish.

It's just the light panels but they are attached with 37 million spot welds!

im sure he said it was a hb van, next time see him i will ask him, i doubt he has any pictures, our house got burned down when i was about 5 and i think he lost all his old photos and stuff, its a real shame, he did loads of custom cars in his youth, i would have loved to have seen some of the motors he did up. thinking about it he sold it to his uncle (and then bought it back) so he might have a photo still.

Be interesting if you can find out, the HB Van was only ever sold in Sweden. Might have been a HB Est with the windows filled in?
