Viva GT Le Mans Blue

Charging my battery and pulled down the garage door which has scraped the leading edge of the open bonnet.... I note that the code is 3BL for this, but the HC for 1972 in Henley Blue is also coded as 3BL. Are they the same colour?

most often they are divided into different colours by the year also. The paint suppliers can find 3BL 1970 and 3BL 1972 and so on.

Many thanks for your response. The place I contacted only went back as far as 1970 with the Henley Blue coming up. I will try a few more.
