MY HEADLIGHTS MAIN PROBLEM

my headlight has had the adjuster snapped of it when the new engine was dropped in and other cars same they seem to be brittle

but the point is the mechanic that broke em wedged wood behind the headlight and we noticed it went through an mot last year same will it not fail ????

If the headlight aim is ok, it might, depends if they notice it!
