Welding question

Postby mazzo » Fri May 24, 2013 7:11 pm

I have to do a bit of MIG welding on my HB. Normally on the HC I would simply disconnect the battery terminals before welding, however I'm wondering if I need to do somethiung extra with the HB.

It is the late HB with the alternator which has the external regulator pack on the inner wing.

Is there anything I should do so I don't fry anything?

As long as the battery is disconnected I wouldnt have thought so, but you could always pull the connections on it just to be on the safe side. Mind you, I'm no welding expert! Are we going shopping at Billing again this year? :friends:

Thanks Peter.

In all honesty, I hope not. That was the most expensive tent and expensive pitching I've ever spent on 4 hours actually asleep under canvass. Must have been near £70 all in.

Must bring the right tent and remember the poles this year!
