found a good way of getting the roof gutter trim off ,and with no damage ! and it clips back on so I thought id share

I have used this method too. The only thing I did differently was put two layers of wiring heat shrink over the end of the lever bar.
On the subject of special tools a plastic fan blade from a modern car works well for mouldings and other trims. I have many sizes for removing wooden trims etc. on Mercedes.
