Mine was fitted with wing mirrors but don't know what make. Door mirrors didn't come 'into fashion' until '74 - '75.

My 1972 2000sl had neither wing nor door mirrors, just the internal rear view. They must have been an option item I guess.

Exterior mirrors were always a option in the '70's. By mid '70's door mirrors became popular and wing mirrors became old fashioned! I remember fitting door mirrors to my father's Maxi and removing the wing mirrors about '76 ish just after my brother bought a new Viva E Coupe with an optional door mirror. My dad liked the mirror on the Viva so well he had to get a pair fitted to his car.
