Exterior glass rubber seal fitting

Postby haza1024 » Wed Oct 08, 2014 7:08 pm

Hi got to the point of putting my glass back in but can't remember how the hell the exterior seal was fitted all I know is I have a few of the unbroken clips left...
Will bang a few pics up to help
This is the new seal and one of the old clips

This is the chrome trim (circled) which the clip has to go through but also connect to the rubber??

Any help appreciated! Possibly with pictures would be great! Thanks Harry

Hi

The old clips don't work with the new trim. You will need some U shopped clips. I got mine from Adrian.

I used short and thick stainless self tappers gripping into the existing slots. Worked a treat.
