Has any one remade the side stripes &/or boot badge stickers for the Sport sl..?
I have a partial that I can use as a template to get remade if not

I have had the boot lid badge remade but not the stripes. Have a look at my Facebook photos, Rachel. I have a spare one in my colours.

A Facebook friend in NZ has had the stripes remade.

I think mine is different. The o has a line through the top & the r is wider all the way down..
I looked on vaux pedia & my badge is the same as the yellow car in the sport sl brochure
Would you be willing to part with your spare badge... :)

My badge was made up from a picture so may not be 100% correct but there will be very free people who would notice. PM'ed you about my spare.

My Sport had a metal Firenza badge on the boot, around the same area as the transfer. i took it off as it's broken, looks totally original behind with the plastic mounting plugs. The boot lid seems original to the car, anyone know, or could the transfer be a later modification?

Your metal boot badge has been added later. The MK1 Sports had only the vinyl badge and the MK2's had a vinyl badge and a 2300 badge on the other side. Could it be that your car had a replacement boot lid fitted at the time of the blue colour change?

The boot lid is original to the car, no marks to suggest it's ever been off, original green paint showing. The badge also seems original as the proper plastic/ nylon inserts are there to mount it.

My old Sport SL had no holes in the bootlid - it didn't have the sticker on it, so presumably it had been painted at some point.
