Weather strips

Postby Moles » Mon May 30, 2016 3:48 pm

Both my doors need attention to the bottoms. But as I've no weather strips it seems pointless repairing them. Can I buy replacements or is there one from another car that's suitable?

If you mean the bits that go at the top of the doors against the glass, try East Kent Trim Supplies, also seem to remember that Early Hyundai Accent ones can be cut to fit.

You can buy them from the same place the trade use, Albert Jagger at Walsall, they also have branches 'oop north and down south. Comes in one metre strips you can cut to length, for about £6 each.
They have an on-line catalogue with profiles of parts displayed at actual size, very handy!
