If you go on e-bay & look for land rover discovery lock barrels & keys up to 2001 these are an exact replacement, the only issue is removing your old barrels as you need to insert the key first

Should add, as yours is a 1969 you'll ideally need the double sided FT series key altlough the FS series single sided key as used in early HB's would also fit

Thanks of that, the problem is that I dont have the key to put into the lock or am I reading it wrong and that you just need a (any) key to go into the lock to remove the barrel

Thanks for the help

You need the correct key to remove the barrel but as it's probably a well worn lock you may be able to 'jiggle' it out with the key for the replacement barrel

Remove the handle and look at the back. Most often the keycode is stamped somewhere. I have lots of genuine keys for replacement so if you are lycky I might be able to help.

Are these keys with the Vauxhall logo stamped on them? I've put new locks in a car which of course came with new keys, but it would be nice to have the proper Vauxhall keys.

I have some genuine factory keys but most are generic from locksmith or similar. All are period 70´s though. All of them are cut so no blanks at all.
