The Viva mudflaps were designed and shaped specifically for the Viva. Some do come up on eBay from time to time. Or you could make your own, like I did, from black polyureathane board that sign makers use. Very easy to cut to shape and a lot more ridgid than the original rubber. The sign maker I bought the board from also made the Griffins for me too.

Correct, I do know his contact details and they are sold. They were new in the original unopened packaging so went for a 'concours' (whatever that is) Snoot rebuild.

I could draw around an original, but I'm not sure what I could then do with the template - scanning it won't work as it's bigger than A4, and for the same reason printing the resulting scan would be an issue for many.

Post? A bit of old wallpaper with a front and rear flap drawn on it wouldn't cost much I'm sure.

Thanks for your support... I am still trying to source some vinyl...closet I got is a hardware shop but so thick it wouldn't flex ..I think it was plastic not vinyl!
Pattern would help and a copy of image ... is it a sign maker that did it ?
Thanks again for your support and interest

If you can't find suitable plastic sheet you could use lorry rubber mudflaps and cut your shapes from them.

I used some rectangular vinyl sheet from Demo Tweeks - they sell as mud flaps for rallying

Think the sign board you are talking about is foamex/foamalux. Easy to work with but becomes quite brittle when cold. If you need a vector setting up for cutting these, just send me a full size paper drawing and i can scan and digitise them for you :D this could then be taken into any sign company with a cnc router and cut from the file.

these are the ones I used -m there is no way the material is going brittle as I see it - it is very flexible - its a bit of a blank canvass but you have to put your own shape to it
