There is a special tool described in the Training Manuals and it is a simple hook type device a bit like a bottle opener.

It is possible to carefully work the trims off with your fingers, lifting them off from below as if they are 'hooked over' the gutter, but there are a couple of retaining tabs at either end of the trims that need to be carefully prised free beneath the gutter.

The trims can be refitted using a similar technique in reverse, hooking them over the gutter and gently tapping them down into place with a rubber mallet. There are two pieces to each side. They slot together somewhere near the B pillar so need to be carefully aligned before tapping into place when re-fitting.

I don't think anyone - by which I mean East Kent Trim Supplies - is supplying these trims, so It's a matter of finding spares from 'breaking' cars as and when they appear on ebay if one breaks - but they are fairly easily removeable intact with care.

Here:

If I recall correctly I used a wide flat-bladed screwdriver against a piece of wood of suitable thickness placed below the gutter to protect the window trims. Do everything very gradually - it's much easier to bend these trims than it is to straighten them, or find good ones.
