the wholes are interchangable, from left to right.
If you peel all the old PVC off your dash your left with perfect sponge, shape and frame. All one needs to do is lay PVC over the top, heat treat it, as in melt it on (as in vacuum suck fit), easier said then done. Leave to cool and then glue on, once the PVC has molded to the shape of the dash

I dont think all of the Scandinavian ideas are so good
I mean,,, whose idea was it to have a scalding hot sauna and then jump into a FREEZING LAKE  :? my "bits "are small enough thank you without subjecting them to that  :?

That would be the Finns... ehh..on second thought, I DO have Finnish ancestors..

Yes, that's also a way to restore it to original standard. :)

I have "asked the question" for you Per,
they could do it :D ,
Getting a definate price at the weekend once he's had a ponder on best way to do it,(hes got my spare crash pad) but estimates around £70 - £80 (may be less :D ).
Leaving the glovebox hole and clocks hole filled in for your own 'custom design' is no problem,
Will let you know as soon as .
thanks
Andy.

I could live with such a price, don't know 'bout you rest. I see the benefit in a NEW crash pad that can be customized. :D

Such a fiberglass pad would be perfect to customize for rally/racing!! Maybe even a pad in carbonfiber in the future (..I must stop thinking... )

Does anyone know where to get some of this stuff from? All the vinyl i've seen available is for upholstery, much too thick and luxurious to look like the original thin plasticky stuff. The door cards in my HB are in a bad way and i would like to have a go at restoring them rather than replacing them with second hand ones.

best off ringing your local auto trimmers and getting some samples. I`ve heard that some can re do door trims for as little as £30 which aint half bad
