This is the damage now tell me how to fix it.

I have never worked with older cars and have notice the front guards dont appear to be bolted on, are they riveted on? What is the best way to remove them so i can whack these dings out.
A tree fell on it.

By 'guards' I think you're talking about the front wings, they should be spot welded to the rest of the shell if they're as original. Spot welds along the rain channel at the top, along the bottom surface where it joins the inner sill, some welding along the A-pillar (possibly not spots) and as I recall it some to the front valance as well. Can be drilled out with a spot weld drill.

Thanks, i thought they'd be fixed on there but theres so much crud at the moment its hard to tell. I'm from New Zealand do you know of any distributors that have aftermarket fiberglass guards and would ship to me? none of the links from this site seemed to have any.

I've decided that rather than let it get thrown away i should fix it, and the thing I'd like to do most would be make a car for time attack at my local racetrack
Here's the start of my "Time attack wings"
but if anyone has some info or ideas that would be appreciated. Like something that might actually be aerodynamic at i have just made a fiberglass cover of some old skyline guards and the front of my existing viva guard, But its not the look I was after
