Cac anyone tel me what size the bolts are for fitting discs to hubs on a late HC please? :oops:

Not HPF: 6389225 - BOLT, hex.hd., 5/16" -24 x 1.04" disc to hub.

So, that translates to a 1 inch long 5/16 UNF bolt? I think that's correct.

Yes, not sure the extra .04" is all that important. I think you're correct, 24tpi would be UNF.

Sounds quite long, though, now I think about it, but I can't remember what mine looked like when I swapped the discs on the hatch.

The length probably includes the head, not just the threaded part. Are they threaded all the way up or do they have a shank I wonder?

I haven't done a comprehensive search, but on the face of a quick look at the parts book, it seems to use the traditional description, i.e. "BOLT" means that it has a section of plain shank, and "SCREW" means that it is threaded all the way up. So if that's correct, there is a shank on those bolts - that would make sense for the section through the centre of the disc.
