Hi everyone! Could anyone tell me if FE Victor 2300 front hub assemblies have larger bearings as per the HPF Firenza? Many thanks in advance.

Leigh.

No, FE Victor hubs and stub axles are not the same as HPF and they are metric AFIK. They are not interchangeable with HC assemblies.

The FD Ventora assemblies are the ones used in the HPF.

Hi David! Thank you so much for the information! I had completely forgotten that the FE was pretty much an Opel metric car. How are you?

Regards.

Leigh.

I dare say the original swivel hubs will be man enough to carry the YB lump!!

I'm keeping well Leigh.

I would agree that the original ones will be OK. Have you seen Jodie Hunns' big brake disc conversion kit for the OHV hubs? That sort of thing would suit your application well and you don't need OHC uprights.
