My 1978 has the code 3946B Zenith Carb fitted-described elsewhere on here as 'the awkward one with the castellated adjuster'. I have rebuilt the carb with a kit. In addition I got a plug (B20767 picture 1) for the oriface in the float chamber where the jet sits. I also fitted a smaller plug in the base of the jet proper(B23123 picture 2). Turns out that the first plug does not fit.
Can anyone assist as regards finding the correct plug. My supplier only supplies the two plugs that I have received.
An original Zenith Parts Schedule in fact makes no mention of a plug for my particular carb type - was it in fact that there was no plug fited from the outset. Any assistance would be appreciated.
