038 is for OHV - 015 is for OHC
Problem is that the 015 is difficult to get nowadays as many battery makers decide to do an uprated 038 to cover this, - but in cold weather these are really not up to swinging over the big engine. I use 065, which is physically bigger in size, but always powerful.

Yep or an 015 if you can find one. An 015 is a heavy duty 038, but they are a bit hard to get. Ive got an 038 on my OHC HC, it starts fine. Matt.
