Postby MattHC1600SL » Fri Apr 06, 2007 10:03 am

Anyone got any experience of fitting superflex bushes? Im thinking of replacing some on my 71 HC. Cheers, Matt.

I think the hardest part is removing the old bushes.

I have them in the back end of the Firenza, they weren't a big problem to fit, the usual fiddle to pull them into place. I ended up using the special tool to remove and fit the voided bush from the back suspension on a Cortina which my mate happened to have lying around.

The only thing now is that they squeak when I push the back of the car down when it's parked. I intend to deal with that by remembering not to push the back of the car down when it's parked.
