This is a wild guess: HA steering wheel center?

Difficult to say without seeing more detail of size etc, but I don't recognize it as HA wheel centre, unless it's an obscure accessory fitting, but I haven't seen one before.
Would look good if it did fit the steering wheel centre though ( hint hint!!)

With that rim around the shiny bit it, it looks as if it should be fitted in to some sort of housing as well.

Any more pics or dimensions Bobby?

wasn't the HA the first Viva? certainly not an HB or (I expect) and HC. I have the remains of something similar in the garage - will see if I can find it.

HA certainly was the first viva, 1963-1966, and they did have a centre cap, ring to the steering wheel, but as far as I recall they were black plastic with a black or silver ribbed ring around the edge and a griffin badge in the middle. Can't recall seeing a chrome and coloured one though, but would like to see it if it DOES fit a HA and wouldn't mind first bid if it's for sale!!
