I had a cassette adapter back in the day with the walkman CD player on a wobble pad on the dash

I use a cassette adapter in my Saab. If anyone is planning on getting one then it's well worth buying a decent one. Cheap ones only play in mono and also can suffer from poor positioning on the cassette head - causing poor sound.

My last one was an iSound one and it was great. Current one is Sony which is good also, but not as good as the iSound.

Viva passed it's MOT! :woohoo:

As a temp measure the hole in the tailpipe has been plugged with exhaust paste, it could use a new system. Anyone got any suggestions for downpipe back on a 1972 1256 HC?

If you look in the supplier links you will find a couple of exhaust suppliers that I have put up there
Goughs Exhaust systems Nottingham have made rear and centre sections for the HC and should now have a pattern

HA is news to me - that's good - Chris Kehoe borrowed an HC middle and back section from me for them to copy - talk to Chris - 07957 602917 - it was about 2 years ago
If they have Firenza 1256cc system that will fit anyway there is nothing fancy on the floor pan.

PD Goughs have the Firenza OHC pattern. Many of the DSG guys have bought them.

but not the one for a 1256 :(

Mike Stokes in Bournemouth do custom built exhausts and a pretty local to me, will probably give them a try. If the current exhaust comes off without damage Goughs have expressed interest in having it as a pattern for the future.
