You wont get VBOA to move far from Luton  It has always been held at Billings Aquadrome until recently and they did a survey of potential sites and M H was it! Anyway where is your sense of adventure you don't have to do it in one hit - don't you have confidence that the car will go a round trip of 360 miles - our Editor and myself took our cars to the Shetlands in 2016 1100 car miles and 500 miles on the boat. I have bought cars down your way and driven them home to Shropshire - if they break down then you need to have AA RAC Green Flag get you home backup. :P

Just checked the dates, clashing with Goodwood Festival Of Speed. I've been press ganged to work that weekend as the Lotus Sales Manager will be on the Lotus Stand (first time Lotus has officially been there in years) and the rest of the sales staff will be on the Morgan stand leaving me - the IT manager - to staff the showroom!

I was starting to look at the possibility of going in my Disco with the Viva on the car trailer but I'm already booked to work :(

Took the car from my weekend place in Dorset to my weekday place in Surrey and back. Now with period locking filler cap and properly aligned headlights - the bodyshop had put H4s in them after re-fitting the lights and one of the bulbs fell out! They now have LEDs in them from https://www.classiccarleds.co.uk/ which our company MOT tester liked so much he asked for the URL to buy some for his classic VW Golf

Lovely looking car!

Early HCs in Aqua Starmist bring back many happy youthful memories. :)
