Yes, a vinyl roof was an option on these cars.
The Magnum you have was originally fitted with one from the factory. A year or so ago a previous owner purchased a brand new original Vauxhall vinyl roof kit and didn't get around to fitting it.

yep that is correct, i think he sold the vinyl kit and the boot trim but fitted the other bits of trim (the C pillar trim)
