Completely different, PCD, offset and width. Some have used MG Midget wheels but they are narrower.

My original plan was to fit Rostyles to my Viva to enable me to fit a wider tyre but with the many differing types about plus the Chevette/Cavilier ones being metric I went for the Avon Safety Wheels from the Droop Snoot cos I knew the stud pattern would be right!

Here's a few photos to show the difference between imperial Vauxhall Rostyles and the Metric Opel Sports wheels.

The imperial rostyles are the ones with 4 full silver spokes and 4 half silver spokes. The Opel Sports wheel is on the lower left with only 4 full silver spokes.

Also note that the imperial Rostyle spokes taper towards the rim while the metric Opel Sports wheel spokes taper towards the centre.

The wheel below is also an Opel metric wheel from an early Manta.

Just to add confusion, early Capri rostyle wheels look similar to manta 'A' rostyles although the pcd is different

I don't know who made the Opel metric wheels used on the U-car and T-car but Rubery Owen made the FD / HC imperial rostyles - hence R.O.style wheels.

Rubery Owen tailored the same design to various different manufacturer specifications. Hence the rostyle wheels appearing on various different late 60s / early 70s Vauxhalls, Fords, MGs and Rootes group cars all looked the same but were actually all different, with different PCDs, rim sizes and offsets according to manufacturer spec -
