Hi all I have just finished putting the all front the suspension back on the car ,all painted in smooth black hammerite. What colour should the rack be gloss or satin black? Dave hc692

I think the same as the engine and subframe - kind of a glossy satin finish, glossier than satin but not as shiny as the outside of the car.

That's about right Mike. Certainly it was a quite thick coat of something that was probably quick drying and didn't run too much. It also didn't need a primer.
