I have just contacted Pilkington classic glass for prices, this is what they replied if it's of any interest to anybody. As I have been unable to remove my wiper scratch I thought about replacing it, might have to live with it now? I have also tried Auto glass who have been unable to find a screen at present.

Please see below price information for the front glass. Please confirm the colour required? The price does not include VAT

Each glass is custom made and the current lead time for delivery is 10-12 weeks. Delivery to a UK address is £25.

HT - Classics Code Model Price
HT0356 BZ - Bronze VIVA 1600, HC, FIRENZA 312.26
HT0356 CL - Clear 430.85
HT0356 CLBL - Clear with blue top tint 447.96
HT0356 CLBZ - Clear with a bronze top tint 315.03
HT0356 CLGN - Clear with a green top tint 310.61
HT0356 CLGY - Clear with a grey top tint 317.25
HT0356 CLH - Clear and heated 540.85
HT0356 GN - Green 299.31
HT0356 GNBL - Green with a blue top tint 311.19
HT0356 GNGN - Green with a green top tint 311.19

All are laminated, they have no pictures of the colour or style.

I bought the last one of a batch made by Pilkingtons for Colin Robins (CRC Motorsport) a few years ago, clear with blue top tint.

A number of people have been talking about getting another batch made but the price really only comes down if you buy 10 or more, a BIG investment! Then you also have the problems of storage and re-shipping to the purchaser.

We have a lot of issues shipping glass at work. Fortunately packaging has improved, Subaru ones used to just come in plastic bags! We had one arrive that had been dumped in the cage and the other parts piled on top. Don't think it was supposed to have a fold in the middle...........

Seriously though, some couriers won't touch them and they have to be well packed. Can be done but these are things to bare in mid.

I have queried with Pilkington why the clear and clear with blue tint are over £100 dearer. They are checking their prices.

When I bought the one that ended up in the hatch, it came from Uroglass. I'm not sure if they still do them, or whether they were just a dealer - the plastic wrapping on the screen was marked Pilkington anyway.

Hi Adrian, I will get back to you. I am after the HC screen. I am the Mike outside King's Lynn you sent to the other day. Are they scratch free? as I have 2 here and both have scratches marks on them.
