Vivas in Canada

Have been meaning to do this for some time but finally a quiet friday night. Weirdly I seem to have become the Viva (HB-GT) guy in the country - I thin when people google it my name comes up. At any rate, thought you might enjoy some of what is happening on this side of the pond.

First, this guy is from Winnipeg Manitoba - if you don't know it gets so cold that salt on the roads doesn't work so they don't bother. therefore there are still many cars on the prairies available - and farmers never throw anything away.

I sold this guy a bumper for the modified car. He just sent me a pic of his new one - the white one, which he just got from Saskatchewan - 6 hours away.

thought you might be interested.

And, in the similar but completely bonkers theme. This guy is about 2 hours from me near Belleville Ontario (where I grew up) He making a full on dragster.

this is the rear end.

and this is the engine

FYI it runs 850 horsepower with pump gas over 1000 with racing gas

and, finally the car itself

I left it till last because the more astute of you might notice that the front fenders are a little longer to accommodate the engine. Somehow this guy figured out the early 60's Chevy II front fenders have exactly the same door profile as do the HB fenders - easy peasy.

enjoy!

There is another car in Thunder Bay (no pics) where he is dropping a V6 in. much creativity!
