Fuel Line question

Postby John B the 2nd » Mon Mar 02, 2020 4:50 pm

Hi all. I am currently putting the tank back in my 1300 Viva SL 1973 and was planning to use copper brake pipe to replace the rotten fuel line. It has just occurred to me that this may not be a big enough bore due to the thickness of the copper, especially as the engine has had the carb replaced with a twin Weber. Can anyone advise send a link to a suitable replacement. I am currently running it out of a jar during rebuild. Thanks, John

I’ve just had a very quick look and found some 3/8” stainless steel fuel line on Amazon.com, but didn’t see the same or similar on Amazon.co.uk. They were showing rolls of 16’ and 25’

You can get 6mm and 8mm copper pipe. From a plumber's supplier.
