Auto Express Car survey Top British cars

Postby Bob perry » Tue Dec 08, 2020 1:00 pm

Found this today. The Top 50 British Cars of all time, and in at number 44 ..... THE HA VIVA!!!! Yeh!!
Further up the list was the Mk 1 Astra, the 35/40 Vauxhall ( Prince Henry Type), and a Cavalier.
No other Vauxhalls in the list.

Eat the dirt lads and lasses!!!!! ( Joke folks!, but nice to see the HA recognised at last, apart from vans )

No 1 was the Mini. I'll go with that.

Absolutely agree Fred. The Picture they used is a very early 1963 model in white, with the registration 39 YYA.
Wonder if that one still exists, or is it from Vauxhalls Heritage collection?

39 YYA. On SORN - last MOT expired Oct 2020 - not in our Viva Register!
There is an article on the strategy for the Heritage collection in last weeks CCW
