Ooh, a real bargain on AutoTrader!

Postby Sid » Fri Jun 23, 2006 12:53 pm

Anyone fancy paying 5 grand, yes £4995 in fact, for a T-reg 1300L HC?
Well that's the asking price for the only Viva on Autotrader at the moment. OK, it looks almost as good as new, but then it didn't
cost that much new!
If it was a 2300 Magnum in the same condition then maybe it could almost be worth it, but it's virtually a base model, it hasn't
even got Rostyles! Bonkers!

The car was bought by the trader for a third of that price less than three months ago and it looks like all he has done is clean it.

If they sell it good luck to them, I suspect it will do the rounds of dealers showrooms for a while before somepoor smuck buys it :?

OK Sid if you might consider a 2300 Magnum how about the one in CCW at
£6,495 ono !!!!
It is advertised as the last original 2 door saloon and was made 1978.
54,000 miles, fully restored .

Blimey it's the silly season again evidently. Makes you worder if any of
these silly priced cars ever sell. I guess anyone desperate enough for a
particular rare car will sometimes pay anything.

Be interesting to see how they justify saying that it's "original" and "fully restored" - surely it's one thing or the other.
