Today it was confirmed that Evens Halshaw are happy to be involved with "A DRIVE FOR INDEPENDENCE". I recieved a telephone call today to start to clarify the details of their involvement, but I do understand that the car will definately be on show for a week at their Vauxhall dealership in Cardiff from 10 - 16th of September, before heading off to the National in Kent that weekend. Evans Halshaw will be basing an advertising campaign arround the car to go allong with, "A DRIVE FOR INDEPENDENCE". They are also having a 1957 Vauxhall Victor dissplayed at their showroom at the same time to help draw in more of the public. Collecting buckets will be placed near the cars in the hope that donations will be made.

When we have collected all the money raised from this event, the cheque is to be handed over to Sian Rhys-Davies from Guide dogs at Evans Halshaw a month or so after the National, so if anybody wants to come allong, they would be more than welcome as a display of viva's would be great publicity for us.

It all seems to be coming together now, so please remember to get involved in some way no matter how small.
