Well got it sorted with a uni mate of mine to go and get the viva. I thought it was near Newport - it was really on the edge of the brecon beacons. Got there after a 3hour drive from london, and then spent the next hour blatting around the local [s]race track[/s] ;) roads. Finally picked the car up - proper nice bloke owner and then the fun began of driving it back to bournemouth. We got in about half-midnight after ~500 of driving in the day.

Of course the main thing to do after driving a wonky viva with shagged suspension along a motorway for 4 hours is to get some good pics for you guys, so headed to the uni car park and got some:

Not sure what to do with it at the mo (apart from get some new shocks on, uprated springs and sort the 'interesting' braking set up out). Think i'll use it as a daily runaround.

Which Newport did you mean? I'm in the one in Shropshire but as you say not really near the Brecon Beacons!
Are you at Uni in Bournemouth or do you live there? I used to live at Westmoors near Ferndown until 3 years ago. there is a club member with a yellow HC estate living in Westmoors.

Looks good. A Reading or Berkshire registration. That era of Vauxhall Metallics were always good as I remember.

Good luck with it, just enjoy (and try and keep it dry!)

Erm 6, with another two to pick up within the fornight

re: keeping it dry, yeah i hopefully have a double garage at my uni house next year (as in from july) so it shall be garaged to keep it in good nick. This is staying standard but just a bit tweaked in the suspension and brake dep. Can't be arsed with the engine tbh - it's healthy enough.

I'm loving the colour and going to see what some G6 and G3'ing will achieve.

Looks a nice one there Tigs.
To stop the lean, just change the front springs to something heavier.
All the best, Paul.

I was guessing something like that, will get some uprated ones made up when i get the time. As it is it's pure comedy.

Just saw this, I think I have seen that estate about. I am at uni in bournemouth - but am pretty much living here all the time.

I meant newport as in the welsh newport, just down the road from Cardiff.
