Does anybody know of the where-abouts of "RAY 732G"?

This car was or maybe still is, a Viva GT and it was used in some competitave events. A previous owner of the car is looking for information regarding the car, such as if it still exists, if we know of any film of the car, as apparently he has some and if we know of any pictures of the car. You never know, as this site and the club is a great help to many and we may be able to make this chap's dreams come true for him.

Thanks for your time,

Ian.

Ian, DVLA search seems to suggest vehicle was taxed till march this year, but hasn't been retaxed since.

RAY Is owned by Gabriel Konig in the rep of Ireland. It was converted to full rally spec and rallied by her. Many wins / places etc. It was then converted into a race car, and even completed in the Tour de France Auto in 1997, competing against Ferraris / Masseratis / AC cobras / E types etc. (A rich boys event). I have a classic shot on video, inside the car view, of it easily tearing past a race e type at Montlerry banked Circuit! Great.
In this event, complete brake failure sees it getting major front end wrecked in a side on shunt with an Austin Healey. Car then went to a specialist race car centre in Ireland, where it was rebuilt thanks to parts from yours truly (Adrian). Was for sale a couple of years back for £17,000, not sold so, Gabriel "rented" the car out for privateer events. Now back with Gabriel, work progresses again on rebuilding engine, and suspension, and we should see it back in race/ rally action again soon.

See photos of the car on Gabriels own web site, Google up, Beaulieu House, Ireland

(that's not the Beaulieu Museum / Autojumble place in New Forest)

Adrian
