what is this it was in a box of Ha bits you can blow right through it it look like some thing to do with brakes?

If its not a sort of valve, could be simply a joint (save running a huge brake line, having 2 instead) dunno !, never seen anything like it

Never seen anything like that before - certainly not fitted as standard on an HA !
Might be a pressure limiting valve...... but that is a complete guess
