The later inercia type belts were bolted to the bottom of the B pillar, to provide clearance from the front seat pushed back to it's farthest position. While the early static types were fastened about 6 inches forward of the B Pillar, because they obviously don't need the clearance...
However, be mindful that it you are looking to fit later type seats to the early cars, they will not bolt straight in... Later cars had the recliners on runners which bolted to a floor bracket that the early HC's do not have. You have to make your mounting frame/fixing bolster.
If you are fixing later type seats, be aware of the clearance required for the seatbelt reel when it's pushed back as far as it will go.
