Hi all

not sure if this is one for mods or general disscusion.

Anyone a fan of the new slot mags? I had mine arrive today WHOOOO YEAH!!
they are 100x4 PCD so not a standard viva fitment, but i have converted the hubs.

tell me your feelings whether you think they will suit the viva.

Sorry, they look like steels, prefer the original Slotmags.

I like them because they are different from the viva norm, which seems to 13" superlights recently!
What did you do with the hubs and halfshafts?

I quite like them, I've considered them but money was my issue. Have to say though I prefer the original slots.

I prefer the old ones too, just difficult to source the right ones.

I had the front hubs milled out and fitted m14 knurled studs, worked perfect! the rear has the e30 axle.

Same way im having mine done,as soon as I clear some workshop space to get it on stands and strip it!
Just hope they can hold the halfshafts to do the holes.
The price of studs seem to vary a lot from £1.50 to £6.50,even from the same supplier!

Here is a PDF of what I did to the front Hub, Dont forget it needs to be an interference fit - hole should be 0.2mm Dia smaller than the splines dia.

It's not something i'd usually do but i wrote them a letter asking if they had any plans to make a proper slotmag. These might be selling but never as much as a proper slotmag would.

I dunno, they do hold a certain simplistic charm... Clean, uncluttered styling. They do look steel, but do like the shiny rims. and the idea of the wheel nut cover.

Get them on the car and lets have a butchers.
