NEED LEGAL HELP

i recently seen a car with a pipe out of the bonnet and thought it was a good idea and thinking bout it but is it legal ????????

iirc to be street legal the exhaust pipe must exit somewhere to the rear of the front wheels..
no idea why you would want it poking through the bonnet though?
