Cheers Chris! Just the bare minimum clearance... 10mm at either side of the top cover!

Cheers,

Leigh.

Not much to report other than a bit of a strip & a clean up in the engine bay, modifying the new headlamps (see "Electrical Help" section) & battery tray removal. The tray came out very easily & is up for grabs for free if anyone needs it! Servo & pedals are also gone as I'll be using a universal underslung bias pedal box with rear facing cylinders. Converting to hydraulic clutch too!

Here's the aforementioned battery tray with only very light surface rust. If it's of any use to anyone, let me know & I'll box it up & post it off!

Looks like a good shell

When you get a chance it would be interesting to see the pedal box fitted 8). Does it take up much space?

Keep up the good work.

Hi Chris! Yep, it's a good one! There are a few teabaggy bits in the floorpans where someone has recently smeared P40 fibreglass  But they'll tig up. Largely due to wet under felt! I've not got the pedal box yet, but it does look compact. I'll let you know as soon as I get it.

Cheers,

Leigh.

Hi guys! As I'm getting on to the restoration side of things, I'll make a new thread in the Restoration section. & post further modifications here.

If its of interest I am using a BMW Z3 positive battery cable in my V8 HB, with the battery in the boot. Nice and thick and good quality...also have a set of ventora discs calipers and arms..but need them as spares... :D
