What is the largest wheel and tyre that will fit on a hb want to stick with 13 inch but what offset , what width of rim and what size of tyre . with out modifying the wheel arch much

I have just fitted 13 inch rostlye with 175 70s tyre onto my hb they do touch the front chasses rail on full lock the wheels are 5 half inch j rims i have fitted 165x 80s on my hb GT and they do the same its no problem and fine when i have mots some fussy testers could fail them hope this is helpfull.

thanks Chris did you have much clearance left around the wheel arch ? and any idea what the wheel off set was ?
I was hoping get a 205 /60/13 with a small arch mod will just have to work out the off set needed to see if I can get it to fit

HB's don't like wide tyres much in my experience, had some BBS cross spoke alloys on one of my old viva's, looked fab, drove like *Bleep*, followed every line in the road. Fitted a set of rostyles with 175x70x13 on 'em and the handling improved no end.
