Speedo Cable

Postby BobbyMel » Tue Feb 16, 2021 6:55 pm

I'm after a speedo cable, with Ford Type 9 connector to Viva HB Speedometer end.
I can get one made up, what I need to know is, what is the Vauxhall end threadwise, I'm thinking 5/8 x 18, and what length is the cable, I'll probably need slightly longer, to fit the gearbox, as it connects further back

Thanks Bob

If you are going to Speedograph for your cable they will most definitely know which one is correct. Just send them an old cable which fits if you want to be very sure.

Agreed, I walked in last year with my setup requirements and they had it done in the hour! Nice pie shop around the corner as well whilst you wait ;) Pre Covid times obviously
