1256 rostyle wheels

Can anyone tell me if it is safe to run 165 13 tyres on these. The old tatty ones on my GLS are size 155 13. I got these some time ago and have put the bigger ones on and it seems OK - but I`m not sure. What does 165 compared to 155 mean .

It's a tiny bit wider. If you've got 5" wide rostyles then 155 is ideal whereas if you have 5.5" wide rostyles then 175 would be ideal but 165 is fine (within reasonable limits) for either.
